NFL Predictions: AFC West

1. Denver Broncos
The Broncos will easily take the division with future Hall-of-Fame Quarterback Peyton Manning leading the helm. But the real question is, can they go all the way. They have the talent, but do they have the hunger?

NFL Predictions: AFC West

2. Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs will make the playoffs, IF AND I SAID IF, Andy Reid gives Jamal Charles lots of carries, AND, I SAID AND, Dwayne Bowe unlocks his true potential. And if Reid doesn't overuse Alex Smith. He's a solid starting Quarterback but not a game-changer like Joe Flacco or Colon Kaepernick (not that Kaepernick is better.)  Can Andy Reid find the right formula to lead his NFL worst Chiefs to the Playoffs in his first year? I don't think so.

NFL Predictions: AFC West

3. San Diego Chargers  ( Just because I don't see Terrell Pryor  being any good)
Philip Rivers has already proven to us that he isn't clutch. This  is the same old Chargers scenario as every year, promising young Running Back, not exactly an exciting receiving crop, and Philip Rivers, a Quarterback of the regular season, and the regular season only.

NFL Predictions: AFC West

4. Oakland Raiders
Cellar dwellers again.
Sorry Raiders fans. It's gonna be another long season. With 32 year old Quarterback Carson Palmer being deemed unworthy of a max deal, management has decided to invest an entire season in 3rd string Quarterback Terrell Pryor who played average in his first NFL start in the season finale. This is a season if rebuilding, though, I don't see Oakland going anywhere fast. They shoulda' signed Ryan Fitzpatrick while they had the chance.

Psycho-T headed to Raptors

Indiana Pacers Forward Tyler Hansbarough has signed with the Toronto Raptors.
Also, the Pacers sign Knicks Forward Chris Copeland. The Miami Heat have released Guard-Forward Mike Miller.

The addition of Hansbarough will make the Raptors better, but can they make the playoffs?

We'll have to wait and see.

The Pacers are getting a good 3 point shooter to come off of the bench in Copeland. It's a good move for all three teams.

Brazil wins Confed Cup

Futebol: Brasil wins the Confederations Cup

Brasil won the Confederations Cup over Spain with 2 goals from Fred and 1 from star Neymar.

They were up 2-0 at the half and went on to win 3-0. This clinches them a World Cup spot and makes them the early favorites to win the Cup.

Also, the World Cup will be held in Brasil.

The Scramble for Dwight Howard

Dwight, O Dwight. Where art thou goingst?
Never can get enough of the Dwight Howard stories.
 Doesn't tire me or anything.

At all.

Seriously.

But it's like those little kid commercials: "many will enter, few will win." That's the way the Dwight Howard palooza is right now.

In case you haven't heard about Dwight Howard, basically, he left his consistently good Magic team to go play with future Hall-of-Famers Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash(who just so happens to be "Nashty".) But they barely made the playoffs and Kobe tore his ACL so they were about to get swept out of the first round by the Spurs when Dwight got himself fouled out of the game on purpose thus ending his teams hopes of winning.
So he are the top front-runners:
1. Rockets
2. Lakers
3. Clippers
4. Hawks?
5. Mavericks
And the problem is, no one knows what Dwight is going to do, not even he himself. In fact, I don't even think Solomon could predict what's going to happen. Although I personally think he should go back to the Magic, I think he's taking his talents to Texas and joining the Houston Rockets.
