Top 11 QB'S in the NFL

8. MATTHEW STAFFORD
With the strongest arm in the NFL, and one of the strongest arms all-time, Stafford is number 8 on the list of top 11 QB'S in the NFL. He's is extraordinarily tough. Once, in a game against the Cleveland Browns, his shoulder was hurting so the coach brought him to the sideline in-between plays and he realized Stafford had dislocated his shoulder. The Lions then put backup QB Dante Culpepper in. But when the coach went to get a drink of water, Stafford snuck in, and, despite his dislocated shoulder, he threw the game-winning Touchdown.

NFL Falcons 28 Jets 30

The 2-2 New York Jets came into the Georgia Dome 9 point underdogs against the 1-3 Falcons. But the Falcons were missing Star Running Back Steven Jackson and Receiver Roddy White injured his Left Hamstring early. The Falcons trailed 17-7 at the half. Then, after a three yard touchdown pass by Matt Ryan, the Jets found themselves down by 1 with just 1:54 left. Rookie QB Geno Smith then led his team 55 yards down the field  to set up the game-winning 43 yard kick by Nick Folk. Smith completed 16 of 20 passes for 199 yards and 3 touchdowns and also ran for 21 yards. Falcons QB Matt Ryan completed 36 of 45 passes for 319 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Top 11 QB'S in the NFL

9. Robert Griffin III

Sure, he hasn't been fully healthy for a while, and sure he's got a bright young running back in Alfred Morris, but despite all this, RG3 is still a potential Hall-of-Famer. The Redskins should never have brought him back for week 1. Instead they should have started promising Michigan State QB Kirk Cousins start while RG3's knee healed. Now I don't know if his knee will ever be the same. But if it is, he DEFINITELY has Hall-of-Fame potential. That's why he's my number 9 QB in the NFL.

Top 11 QB'S in the NFL

10. PHILIP RIVERS

Philip Rivers is the prototype for QB'S who are fantastic in the first half of the season, then stink it up in the second half. He's on pace for 6,000 yards! He'll easily get 60 TD'S! These are the usual Philip Rivers midseason headlines. Then he blows it, he chokes, he squanders it. That's Philip Rivers EVERY  single year. Is this the year he's finally the real deal? We'll have to wait until AFTER a week 10 showdown with the Broncos to know for sure.

Top 11 QB'S in the NFL

11. ELI MANNING

Right now Eli is a fringe Hall-of-Famer at this point in his career. No running game, No defense, the Giants game plan is pretty much Eli to Cruz. That's it. The former Super Bowl Champions GRAND game plan. But there's nothing Eli can do about it. The Giants were the one's that needed to trade for Trent Richardson, not the Colts. This is the WORST GIANTS TEAM of the Eli Manning era. Period. Eli has shown us flashes of greatness throughout his career. Those flashes have come in 2008 and 2012. Right now despite being second in the league in turnovers I feel obliged to go with Eli over Colin Kaepernick or Cam Newton. However, Eli needs to turn things around, and fast, if he's going to retain his job next year.

Soccer Head-to-Head

Lionel Messi vs. Cristiano Ronaldo
This is an analysis which will decide who is the best soccer player in the world.

Speed:
Lionel Messi is easily the fastest soccer player in the world. Ronaldo is speedy also but in a foot race he would be eating Messi's dust.
Winner: Messi

Header:
Cristiano Ronaldo has an outstanding header, one of the best in the world even. Meanwhile, Messi, at Five Foot Eight is much too short and lacks a great header.
Winner: Ronaldo

Keeper Abilities:
Neither player has any known keeper abilities.
Winner: Draw

Power:
Ronaldo has an amazing amount of shot power whereas, it's still a weak point in Messi's game.
Winner: Ronaldo
Accuracy:
Both players have such incredible accuracy I don't know how I could pick either player.
Winner: Draw

Footwork:
Lionel Messi has the best footwork out of anyone in soccer history. Ronaldo isn't too bad, either, but this is Messi's signature skill.
Winner: Messi

That's the end of the analysis. So, who's the best player? It's hard to tell but I've got to say Ronaldo because of his experience.
Overall Winner: Cristiano Ronaldo
