NBA Trade Deadline News

The NBA trade deadline is today at 3:00 P.M. Here's what's happened so far:

Los Angeles Lakers Point Guard Steve Blake has been traded to the Warriors for reserve Shooting Guard's MarShon Brooks and Kent Bezamore. It was a good move for both teams as Golden State got a solid backup Point Guard for starter Stephen Curry in Blake, and the Lakers made themselves bad enough to contend for a top-three draft pick.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have traded backup Forward Earl Clark and 2 second-round draft picks to the Philadelphia 76ers for Center Spencer Hawes. Once again, it was a good move for both teams, as the Cavaliers got a big man that can shoot the 3, and the 76ers added more draft picks.

The Sacramento Kings have traded Shooting Guard Marcus Thornton to the Brooklyn Nets for Shooting Guard Jason Terry and Forward Reggie Evans. It was a better deal for the Nets, since they are getting a promising young player, while the Kings are getting two washed-up players past their prime.
