Jimmy Graham tagged by Saints

The New Orleans Saints have used their one-year Franchise Tag on free-agent Tight End Jimmy Graham. Graham is one of the leagues best Tight Ends and he caught 16 touchdown passes last year.

Earlier this offseason he said he wanted to be payed like a top Wide Receiver because he lined up out wide on 65 percent of plays, rather than like a top Tight End. This is because the top Wide Receivers make about $10 million per year and the top Tight Ends only make about $5 million per year.

Graham also said that it would be "disappointing" if he were tagged, and that if he was indeed tagged as a Tight End he would file a grievance against the NFLPA (National Football League Players Association.)

It has not yet been announced whether he's been tagged as a receiver or Tight End.
